Legal
Terms of Service
These terms govern your G&G Tax Advisors account and our preparation of your tax return. Your engagement letter is a separate document: once your fee is set, it is presented in your portal for your signature before payment.
1. The service
G&G Tax Advisors prepares US income tax returns. Automated tools organize your documents; a licensed tax preparer personally reviews, approves, and signs every return before anything is filed, and we e-file only after you have reviewed your completed return and signed Form 8879. We do not provide legal advice, audit representation, or tax planning beyond preparing the returns described in your engagement letter.
2. Your account
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and use the portal only for your own tax matters. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently or unlawfully.
3. Fees, payment, and the money-back guarantee
Standard tax preparation is a $250 base price; anything beyond the standard tier is quoted to you before you pay. Your fee is due once a licensed preparer has reviewed your documents and accepted your return, and preparation begins when you pay. Every payment is backed by our money-back guarantee: if we cannot complete and file your return, we refund your fee in full.
4. Consents and signatures
Using our automated tools to read your documents is covered by an OPTIONAL consent under IRC §7216 (read the consent). We prepare your return with or without it, at the same fee; without it your preparer processes documents manually. E-filing requires your signature on Form 8879 after you review your completed return (see what you'll sign). Our Privacy Notice explains how your nonpublic personal information is collected, used, and shared.
5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We prepare your return from the information you provide and do not audit or verify it; the return is your legal responsibility, and signing Form 8879 confirms it is true, correct, and complete to the best of your knowledge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the preparation fee you paid for the return at issue.
6. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Arizona law. If we change these terms, the version you accepted remains recorded with your account, and material changes will be presented for a fresh acceptance.
7. The engagement letter
Return preparation itself is governed by a separate engagement letter. Once a licensed preparer has reviewed your situation and set your fee, the letter is personalized with your name (and your spouse's, on a joint return) and presented in your portal for your signature. You sign it before you pay, and your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and a fingerprint of the exact text you agreed to.
